A total of 315 daycare workers from all over Bataan attended the Daycare Workers’ Week celebration spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) yesterday, June 7, at Lou-is Resort and Restaurant.

Anchored on the theme, “Child Development Workers: Katuwang ng Pamayanan sa Paghubog ng Batang Maka-Diyos, Makabayan, Makatao at Makakalikasan,” PSWDO Head Maria Cristina Lopez unerscored the vital role of daycare workers in molding the children’s’ identity and capabilities. She also reminded them of their duties and responsibilities, particularly in relation to the province’s nomination for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

Board Member Romano “Popoy” Del Rosario shared his insights on the role of daycare workers in strengthening children’s faith, beliefs, and behavior.
